Different errors can have different causes and require different troubleshooting steps. Here are some of the most common errors that can occur when using mobile applications:
Error 401/404
It means that there is an issue with the authentication of your profile and your account details cannot be loaded properly.
Possible fix:
- Go into the Us tab and visit the Settings
- Tap on About you and make sure you have an email address attached to your account
- Scroll to the bottom of the Settings page and tap Log out
- Log back in, using email + password, Apple, or Google login
Error 500
It means that your app couldn't connect to our servers
Possible fix:
- Switch between Wi-Fi and Mobile Data
- Delete and redownload Paired
- Try again at a later time
- If you just created your account, please try creating a new profile (it's possible that something happened during the sign-up process)
Timeout error
It means that the server took too long to respond which can be caused by a slow internet connection or if the app is not up-to-date
Possible fix:
- Check that you are using the latest version of Paired
- If you're on iPhone, check here
- If you're on Android, check here - Make sure you’re using a strong internet connection
- Force-close the app and reopen the app
Network error
It means that the connection between your device and our servers isn't strong enough or is too unstable for the data to be communicated properly
Possible fix:
- Try to swap between Wi-Fi or Mobile Data connection
- Deleting and reinstalling the app again
Before doing so, please make sure you know the associated email address and login method for the account you've created
